The premier release of John Coleman’s “Holy Man of the Buffalo Nation” represents a Sioux Medicine Man of the Great Plains, circa 1870.  This man would have had considerable power and influence over his people in matters not only of healing, but was consulted in areas of other importance as well, including those of war.
